Host of Morning Real Estate Report, “America’s Real Estate Evangelist”, Larry A Makowski. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker, Real Estate Agent, Real Estate Investor as well as director of Commercial, Residential, Estate & Personal Property Auctions and is an Appraiser.

Mr. Makowski founded and developed Express Auctioneers into one of the premier traditional real estate auction companies in this country. He is also the Director of National Association of Real Estate Auction Agents and Brokers.

He is a past Convention Chairman of the National Auctioneer’s Association, past President of Maryland Auctioneer’s Association, Auctioneer of the Year 1996, State of Maryland Bid Calling Champion 2001, State of Maryland Auctioneers Hall of Fame 1999.

Mr. Makowski formed the first auction joint venture, OPF Prestige Auctions, with the largest U.S. franchised brokerage holding company, NRT Mid-Atlantic, Inc., a subsidiary of NRT.

Larry has been recognized as an Authorized National Association of Realtors Instructor for Continued Education - “The Auction Method of Marketing”, as a speaker for the National Association of Real Estate Owned Brokers - “Valuing Real Property for Liquidation Purposes”, and as a speaker for the State of Maryland Auctioneers Association - “Process of Determining Value for Equipment”.

Larry’s professional memberships have included: National Auctioneers Association (Past Convention Chairman), Auctioneers Association of Maryland: Past President/State Chairman and Board of Directors,  Member of American Society of Appraisers, Member of American Bankruptcy Institute.

Larry graduated from The Real Estate Education Program at University of Baltimore and The University of Indiana’s Auction Marketing Institute Program.

Larry spends his free time performing charity auctions and enjoys teaching young auctioneers and real estate professionals the ropes.
